On September 1, 2024, Haitians living in Vietnam met at the Haiti Embassy to communicate, exchange ideas, and strengthen ties. The evening featured heated discussions about community support, cultural preservation, and how to maintain strong ties with our motherland.
Mr. Darlier Dorval, the Chargé d’Affaires, provided key updates to consular services while also answering other important questions. He also expressed his commitment to assisting the Haitian population in Vietnam by reacting to concerns and ensuring that their views are heard.
The meeting was also a wonderful celebration of Haitian culture. We swapped tales, praised Haitian culture, and, most importantly, strengthened our solidarity as Haitians living overseas.
